I was raised in a house full of sports fans, though I never really got into it myself. However, whenever the Superbowl came around I would get really excited for the food, the commercials, and even the game. Every year my family would go to my grandparents' house and enjoy good eats and good company. As I got older and moved away from home I had to start my own tradition. So every year, without fail, I make buffalo chicken dip. This stuff is CRACK - so delicious, so addictive, so satisfying...don't say I didn't warn you.

To me, this recipe is sacred. It's definitely an indulgence, but I only have it once a year for the Superbowl. Admittedly it is absolutely in my top 3 favorite dishes of all time list (only behind ikura sushi, aka salmon roe, and cheese plates). So if you are hosting a party for the game or need something to bring to someone else' party, or simply want to gorge by yourself, I highly recommend making this! It is stupid easy to make and only has five ingredients!

Buffalo Chicken "Crack" Dip
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 8-12 people

You Will Need:

  • 8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie is easiest, but feel free to cook up your own then shred)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (I recommend Frank's Red Hot Original)
  • 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, in a large bowl mash cream cheese to soften.
  2. Add chicken, ranch, hot sauce, and blue cheese to bowl and mix well to combine.
  3. Put into a large oven safe ceramic bowl (or split into two smaller bowls) and bake for 30 minutes. Serve immediately with tortilla chips!
